Nice&Needy

Human categories of thought cannot hold these two things together. We feel like either our choices matter and they’re significant and they have consequences and that means or destiny is not fixed, and history is open; or we believe that everything is fixed, and if everything is fixed, who cares how you live, because it doesn’t really matter what you do. But in the Bible we’re told that we’re both absolutely free and absolutely determined at the same time.
